The poor thing was caught in Clear Lake area, and my friend brougght it to me, I released it into an area of woods and a bayou, but the danged animal came back. Where is a good spot for an armadillo?

Well he has good taste! I went to school in Clear Creek and the rich kids lived in Clear Lake! The woods is the best. Is there a local animal rescue you could call and ask? Good Luck!

The local dump, seriously they love to dig and scavange food and that is a great place it can thrive and not get ran over. Plus if you have fed it unless you take it somewhere with food it will keep comming back.
