I’m beginning to think they’re dumber than opossums.
They seem to prefer the interstate – I never see them in town and haven’t seen a live one yet! Poor guys – the experts said they’d never make it from Texas to Alabama but they are here. Must be a living one somewhere.

Sometimes they do. As a teen I lived in the country and had a pet armadillo. They are not as dumb as you think. This one was injured by another animal. I rescued it and it followed me around like a puppy.
