   they sure dont seem to

   I had armadillo lizards and have kept lizards for 7 years now.

   Sometimes they do. As a teen I lived in the country and had a pet armadillo. They are not as dumb as you think. This one was injured by another animal. I rescued it and it followed me around like a puppy.
