Yea i owned two of them for a few years, (More of a dark brown Lizard w/ a Spiky Tail than a Armadillo) well first off believe me or not i’m going to tell you the truth. They are “pickier” eaters than Boa’s and they are more of a snake than a Lizard. For experts only and are way more prone to bitting than most Lizards are. They will eat warm mice that you have thawed from PetCo or anywhere else and they love mealworms when there small just to make sure you don’t waste any money cut a dixie cup and get some mealworm and use the dixie cup as a bowel. ALSO if there both males they are EXTREMLY terratorial and will fight each other often though you may not notice. This can lead to stress. You should have atleast a 20 gallon tank and this is really really pushing it. So try mealworms first i bet you that works.

Hi rather than giving you bad advice like you have previously received here’s a link
http://www.tallbo.com/
The website covers everything but it is intended for keepers in south africa so you need to adapt some of the things to fit wherever you are.
That said it’s the best care guide/advice I’ve come across for them

Keep a close eye on the one that isn’t doing as well. He might have a parasite or worms-a visit to the vet would help determine that and then treatment can start. Also you just got them, it can take a few days for them to de-stress and settle into the new tank. Watch for any bullying from the one that is eating well. Hopefully they will settle in and both do well. Good luck.
