Cine Politics takes a glance at the “Armadillo”; a documentary from the Danish filmmaker Janus Metz, released earlier 2010. It is a film on the topic of war and sensibility through the eyes of Danish soldiers deployed for the first time in Afghanistan at the forward operating base “Armadillo”; a mere 800 yards from Taliban territory. Armadillo has generated great debate in Denmark, and shows some soldiers possibly breaching the rules of war.
