Someone please-who sings The Armadillo Song? I think he’s Tex-Mexican-American.Help?!?!?!?!?

Some words are “there’s a big armadillo in the middle of a little old country road I’m traveling on.”
Theres a big armadillo in the middle of a puddle, a bottle in the puddle, a bee in the bottom of the bottle in the bottom of the puddle in the middle of the road, I’m traveling on.
There’s a red headed rider with a radio rareing, with the windows rolled up and the top let down.

Thats all I can remember. I had this on a CD when I delivered newspapers a few year back and liked its beat. LOL

I need information on Trinity Texas around 1979 to 1980?

I am looking for a business called “Armadillo Country Club” in Trinity Texas, at least we believe that to be the name of the business…would have been around 1979 or 1980…also I am looking for anyone with information regarding a man who worked there at that time by the name Daniel or Danny, last name believed to be Harger. We are trying to locate him , his son is trying to find him. We were told Danny’s parents owned a golf course in Trinity Texas around that time frame.

What is the oddest roadkill you have seen?

I live in Florida and take country roads to work. I have seen a wild boar, armadillos, river otters, and alligators.

For all people that live in the country…What creature makes this sound – see more………?

And for those of you that don’t live in the country too……
I live in the s.e. corner of the U.S. – Florida to be exact. Actually it is considered the north central part of Florida in a tiny little town called Anthony, outside of Ocala. I live on 10 acres in the woods – not a forest – and I have heard a very high pitched sound. Not a squeal, not a squeek, but sort of in between, if you can imagine that. It comes from either a raccoon, armadillo, or possum.
So, knowledgeable people out there – which one is it? I know someone out there knows it…Please let us know asap! thanx……..p.s. it almost sounds like a bird, but I do know it is not. Ok everyone, have a go at it and lets see what everyone says. Thanx, L. Scott

How do you say “giant anteater” in Quechua? Thanks!?

Or if any there are any other vernacular words, I’d like to know those too. — don’t forget to list the country . Thanks!

[oso hormiguero, en español...hay otras palabras?]

Armadillo, tamandua, & aardvark aren’t the same animal, for the uninitiated. :-)
I’m really only interested in the Quechua word + words used in the Americas. (Middle English or Klingon, not so much.)
