I never realized that there are fossils of more than just dinosaurs. Is there a list of fossils of creatures that you can purchase? Ex: Ancient Cave bear, Armadillo armor, Buffalo teeth.

Can’t remember the name of cartoon?
There was a cartoon I watched when I was a child (in the 80′s), it involved a girl with magical powers from underground world that was dying. I think the world may have been turning into crystals or something. She had the help of several companions. The comic-relief animal-companions of group were these two yellow creature like armadillos with trumpet like noses that could role into balls.

What is the doedicarus?
Huge, 30 ton dinosaur that looks like an armadillo with a spiked, ball tail? Would love to find more info on this creature from the Cretaceous Period.
Where Can I Find Dillem, a Christian Childrens Book?
When I was a little girl in the late 80s and early 90s my favorite book was Dillem. It was a Christian book about a little creature who looked kinda like an armadillo who had to fight this really pretty ethereal devil like creature. On his journey he finds that he can not do it alone but with the help of god he could. And he acquires the sword of the spirit and the breastplate of righteousness etc. on his way.
I would like to know the name of the author and a place where I can find a copy of the book. I’ve googled everything i could think of, but still can’t find it.

For all people that live in the country…What creature makes this sound – see more………?
And for those of you that don’t live in the country too……
I live in the s.e. corner of the U.S. – Florida to be exact. Actually it is considered the north central part of Florida in a tiny little town called Anthony, outside of Ocala. I live on 10 acres in the woods – not a forest – and I have heard a very high pitched sound. Not a squeal, not a squeek, but sort of in between, if you can imagine that. It comes from either a raccoon, armadillo, or possum.
So, knowledgeable people out there – which one is it? I know someone out there knows it…Please let us know asap! thanx……..p.s. it almost sounds like a bird, but I do know it is not. Ok everyone, have a go at it and lets see what everyone says. Thanx, L. Scott
Moved to Oklahoma a year ago. Have yet to see an Armadillo. Is there really such a creature?
I’ve been here a year. Haven’t seen one dead or alive? Are they just a creature of make believe or do they truely exist. I know they aren’t in the city, but shouldn’t there be some road kill on the highways or something? I’ve yet to see one? I am truly serious!!!
Can anyone tell me a sure fire way of getting rid of Armadillos, without killing them?
They are digging up my lawns but leaving my neighbors alone , and we have a pest service that sprays the yard for bugs every three months. I have tried chilli pepper, and deer and small creature deterent spray. What else is there to do?
Well, thank you Frank m. That was no help at all…I’m Canadian… You can’t tell me how to live with nature, I’m from the west and also lived in the mountains of Colorado at 8,500 feet up. right on top of Doubleheader mountain. I know ALL about living with Bears, Elk, Deer Cougars, foxes and anything else that lives in the mountains BUT that doesn’t help my situation now that I live in the suburbs in Alabama. I did my share of helping the animals make it through winters in 4 feet of snow when there was nothing to eat but bird food. have you ever seen a starving fawn? and helped it stay alive? Well I have. so don’t give me advice on living with nature I just want some help to MOVE the Armadillos back to the wilderness
