I am just sure I saw a bald eagle picking up a dead armadillo yesterday. It was a huge brown bird with a white tail and white head, yellow beak…looked just like a bald eagle. But I didn’t think they ventured this far south, so I thought I would check.

I came across these wild armadillos in the woods in Shelby County, Alabama. It took a while for them to get used to me standing in the middle of their group. You can see two of five juvenile armadillos. His back was a lot more hairy than I thought it would be.
Now that Storm Eagle is out of the way, Armored Armadillo will be cake and besides, this will be something that I will so enjoy.
