The next Maverick is a well-armored one called Armored Armadillo. He sometimes blocks your attacks with his shield-like arms, and he bounces around the room in a ball form. The easiest way to beat Armadillo is with Electric Spark, which strips his armor off. In this stage, two Mole Borers dig through the stage. The first Mole Borer hides a Sub Tank behind it; the second will prevent you from collecting the Heart Tank unless you destroy it early. There is a secret capsule in this stage, which only appears when you have all 8 Heart Tanks and all 4 Sub Tanks, but I will show that later. It holds an ultimate attack that can destroy any enemy in one hit.
