This is a serious question. No silly or rude responses, PLEASE!! My husband is from Central America and there they eat armadillo alot. I would like to purchase some meat for him for his b-day as he hasn’t had any in years. Any ideas where I could find it at?

my sons lizard had 2 babies recently, my question is how soon before we can seperate them from the momma, they are already eating crickets on their own.
I have a biology project tommorow and i have to list the evidence of how the armadillo has changed over the years, using fossils as evidence.
Can anyone help me, or at least tell me a web site that could help me. I’ve searched all over yahoo, but their isn’t evidence regarded fossils. Thank you so much if you give an answer.
My son has a pet Armadillo Lizard, and he wants to get another lizard to live in the same habitat, but it has been a task trying to find another one of these Armadillo Lizard’s locally. What other lizard can he get that will get along with his current pet?

I have tried, but since these lizards one give birth to one at a time( and not in an egg, how many reptiles do that?) it is hard to find one or someone that is willing to part with one.

The majority of answerers said that the reference was for the soul, or intelligence, or our spiritual form; and that the statement in Genesis was more metaphorical.
Fair enough (though I’ve yet to hear the criteria for what is metaphor or poetic, and what is literal).
So here’s my next question. Why weren’t our physical bodies made better? More limbs, more eyes, greater muscles, better senses, tougher skin, quicker healing, and so on.
I know many will say that these weren’t needed before the fall of man… so why were animals given these features if they weren’t needed? Or did armadillos have soft skin, dogs could only smell like we can, and spiders walked on two legs?
And I don’t consider the desire to not question “God’s plan” a virtue. I think blind faith is one of the prime causes of misery in life.
I’m a kid who is writing an essay on armadillos. So I was wondering if there was a law to prohibit shooting armadillos in the U.S. If there is not a law then that is the end of this question.
