Should I help an upside down armadillo that’s on the road?

Now I really don’t know how big armadillos can get, but this one is pretty big. Whenever I see it, it’s always crossing the street (small residential subdivision). Well this morning I saw it upside down and struggling to flip over. As I slowly drove passed it I noticed another vehicle had turned around. I’m guessing to help it, because I didn’t see it on the road after going back within the hour- just wanted to know if it’s safe for me to try and flip it over myself.

Why did the chicken cross the road? another version.

To prove to the armadillo that it could be done.

Do armadillos ever make it safely across the road?

I’m beginning to think they’re dumber than opossums.
They seem to prefer the interstate – I never see them in town and haven’t seen a live one yet! Poor guys – the experts said they’d never make it from Texas to Alabama but they are here. Must be a living one somewhere.

Job: septic tanks or roadkills…?

… I have a job cleaning septic tanks all day but I might be able to get another job picking up dead animals off the roads across the entire county. Do you think this will be a step up or possibly even worse? It is in the dead of summer and a lot of those dead dogs, racoons, horses, deer and armadillos have their guts splattered all across the road and are crawling with maggots. Of course I could keep the really fresh kills and cook them and it would be nice to come home after a hard day of pumping septic tanks and not have all the neighborhood dogs gag and puke when I get near them. The pay is almost exactly the same so, any thoughts?

Why do the squirrels, possums, and armadillos cross the road?”.?

I don’t even know why people make a big joke about a chicken crossing the road….you really don’t see dead chickens mostly all the animals you see are squirrels, possums, and armadillos…..suicidal creatures!!!!
